Join NEXTGen Detroit Volunteers and Repair the World Detroit for a meaningful day of giving back at Mariners Inn. Mariners Inn serves as an anchor for those struggling to navigate the treacherous waters of homelessness and substance abuse through a wide range of social service programs that achieve the best possible outcomes for adults, families and youth affected by addiction.

NEXTGen Detroit Volunteers is one of only a few large volunteer groups that visit Mariners Inn, and we are desperately needed to sort the current abundance of winter clothing donations. We will be giving our time from 9:30 to 11:30 AM, sorting clothing donations, helping in the library and preparing lunch for the residents.

If you would like, please bring a donation, as they are in need of: men’s clothing, blankets, towels/washcloths, hygiene products (toothbrushes, deodorant – please, no mouthwash or fragrant products).

After our morning of mitzvah, we’ll take ourselves out to lunch at Detroit Shipping Co.!
