Today is my 13th birthday, and I am awkward AF…

Take a trip down memory lane and recall what it was like to be a young teenager – braving the halls of middle school, bar and bat mitzvah parties and of course, good ole puberty. What would your 13-year-old-self confide in a journal entry? Deep dark secrets, embarrassing moments, unrequited crushes?

Spin us a story or read from the original source (yea, go find your diary). You’ve got 5 minutes to slam, and we can’t wait to hear what you’re gonna tell us!

This will be a safe place, which we define as “a place where anyone can relax and be able to fully express, without fear of being made to feel uncomfortable, unwelcome or unsafe on account of biological sex, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, cultural background, religious affiliation, age, or physical or mental ability.”

Kosher-style refreshments provided. Let us know if you’ll be sharing a story or just coming to listen!
