Join NEXTGen Detroit Volunteers and Repair the World Detroit for a special shift volunteering at the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW)’s annual Back2School Store program!

The Back2School Store supports Detroit students who are in need of the appropriate school supplies to help provide them with a successful school year. Our pop-up store is designed to look like a department store where each child “shops” with a personal shopper for new clothing: shirts, pants, socks, underwear, winter coat, hat, gloves and shoes. Children can also choose a new backpack, filling it with school supplies and personal care items.

They are in need of volunteers for the 3 PM time slot, so we will be there as a group at that time! Sign up for a specific role on a first-come, first-served basis and choose from: Personal Shoppers, Shoe Fitters, Child Checkout Desk, and more!

When you register, write “NEXTGen Detroit” in the comments section so that we know you are a part of our group.
