Chazzano Coffee Roasters
1737 E 9 Mile Rd, Ferndale, MI 48220
Jews have way more in common with coffee than the Maxwell House Hagaddah — in fact, there’s thousands of years worth of Jewish influence on the world’s most popular beverage. Join us for an educational and hands-on evening as we learn about Judaism’s connection to coffee from local educator Jenna Englender and get some inside info on being a coffee connoisseur from the folks at Chazzano Coffee.
We’ll slurp and sniff single origin coffees and discuss how to taste coffee like a pro. After a tour of the coffee roasterie, which we’ll have all to ourselves for this private event, we’ll learn to brew a single origin coffee as a French Press, Iced, Vacuum Syphon, Espresso, Pourover and Turkish and discuss how the different brewing styles bring out different notes and textures.
