SUMMARY:The Power of the Player: Name\, Image\, Likeness and Networking
DESCRIPTION:The Power of the Player: Name\, Image\, Likeness and Networking\nHow college athletes build their brand — and what we can learn from it.\nIt’s more than sports — it’s about how relationships\, reputation\, and the\nright connections can open doors in any field. Come for the conversation\, stay\nfor the connections. Meet fellow young Jewish professionals\, hear from experts\nin the field\, and enjoy a fun\, relaxed evening. \nOur guest speakers include: \n * Michael Stein\, a trusted advisor for collegiate athletes\, specializing in Name\, Image\, and Likeness (NIL) representation. Michael leverages his legal acumen to help athletes navigate the evolving NIL space and maximize their earning potential. He’ll share insights from his experience guiding student-athletes through this rapidly changing landscape.\n * Dylan Deitch\, who oversees both the day-to-day legal operations and the basketball business for Champions Circle\, the official collective supporting University of Michigan student-athletes. Dylan transitioned into the NIL space after starting his career at a corporate law firm in Chicago. His current work blends contract management\, donor engagement and day-to-day strategy around athlete marketing and team support. \nWhether you’re into sports or not\, today’s college athletes are rewriting the\nrules of personal branding and opportunity. Join us for The Power of the\nPlayer: Name\, Image\, Likeness and Networking\, where we’ll explore how student-\nathletes are leveraging their platforms — and how those same strategies apply\nacross industries. \n**Special thanks to our event co-chairs:**\nSteven Betel\nKyle Biel\nGillian Porter\nTaylor Weintraub\n**NEXTWork is brought to you by Gesher Human Services and NEXTGen Detroit.\nSpecial thanks to the Hadas and Dennis Bernard NEXTWork Endowment Fund.** \nView event on Jlive: https://jlive.app/events/12007
