DESCRIPTION:Every year\, Israel and Jewish communities around the world commemorate Yom\nHaZikaron — the Memorial Day for Israel’s fallen soldiers and victims of\nterror. Since the October 7 attacks\, this day has become especially poignant\nfor us all. \nWe invite you to join Federation’s Israel & Overseas Department and the\nFriends of the IDF for _Songs of Sacrifice_ \, a special Yom HaZikaron vigil of\nwords and music. Together\, we’ll hear the powerful stories of fallen soldiers\nthrough testimonials and song\, creating a space for reflection and\nremembrance. We are especially honored to welcome Captain Roie of the IDF\, who\nwill share his experience and music with our community. \nAfter the vigil\, all are welcome to stay for _שרים וזוכרים_ \, a moving\ntradition of singing Israeli Yom HaZikaron songs\, led by our community\nShinshinim. \nLet’s stand together\, honor the fallen and show our unwavering support for\nIsrael.   \nView event on Jlive: https://jlive.app/events/11154
