SUMMARY:The Never‑Ending To‑Do List \nSuccess Without Burnout
DESCRIPTION:Women. We’re capable. We’re driven. And our to‑do list never seems to end. \nFor many driven women\, success comes with constant pressure—to perform\, to\nproduce\, to keep pushing. Over time\, that pressure can quietly turn into\nburnout\, anxiety and the feeling that no matter how much you accomplish\, it’s\nnever quite enough. \nJoin Dr. Paula Freedman Diamond\, psychologist and author of _Toxic Striving_ \,\nfor a candid conversation about ambition\, productivity and what it really\ntakes to sustain both your career and your wellbeing. We’ll unpack the\npressures that drive burnout among high-achieving women and examine the\nbeliefs shaping how we define success. You’ll leave with practical tools to\nmanage stress\, pursue goals more sustainably and rethink what achievement\nreally means.\n$40 incudes networking\, program\, lite bites and beverages. Plus\, a copy of Dr.\nFreedman Diamond’s Book _Toxic Striving._ \nDietary laws observed.\nThis event is open to all Jewish women 21+.\nPlease RSVP in advance by May 15. \nThank you to our Leadership\nAmy Strauss\, JWWN Chair\nStacy Doctoroff\, WP Vice President\nNancy Glen\, WP President\n**About our Speaker**\nDr. Paula Freedman-Diamond is a licensed clinical psychologist\, author of\nToxic Striving and founder of the Chicago-based group psychology practice\nHumanKind Psychological Services. Dr. Paula specializes in helping high-\nachievers\, overthinkers and mission-driven leaders untangle their self-worth\nfrom productivity\, appearance and performance. Growing up in a Holocaust\nsurvivor family deeply engaged in Jewish communal life\, her academic and\nclinical work has explored how legacy\, cultural values and temperament shape\nidentity and ambition. \nDrawing from more than a decade of clinical experience and evidence-based\napproaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Intuitive\nEating\, Dr. Paula helps audiences uncover limiting beliefs and challenge\nproductivity-driven definitions of success. She translates evidence-based\npsychology into practical tools for preventing burnout and striving for a\nversion of success that is fulfilling\, not depleting. Her expertise has been\nfeatured in The New York Times\, Reebok\, Yahoo\, Parade and more. She writes for\nPsychology Today and is a consultant for companies including Bark Technologies\nand A Sweat Life.\n**About JWWN**\nThis program is presented by the Jewish Working Women’s Network (JWWN)\, a\ncommunity of Jewish women navigating careers\, leadership and life together.\nWhether you’re early in your career\, managing teams or redefining your next\nchapter\, JWWN offers space to learn\, connect and grow alongside women who get\nit. \nView event on Jlive: https://jlive.app/events/15560
