DESCRIPTION:The Jewish Federation of Detroit invites you to join our community in marking\ntwo years since the October 7\, 2023\, terror attacks.   \nLet’s gather to honor the memory of those we lost\, pray for those still in\ncaptivity\, and stand together in tribute to the strength and resilience of the\nJewish people. The evening will include inspirational music from the Israeli\ngroup HaShayara\, from Dror Israel\, whose songs have brought healing and hope\nto displaced families\, soldiers and Jewish communities worldwide since October\n7. Guests will also experience a powerful exhibit of photography and artwork\ncreated by our community\, available to view before and after the\ncommemoration. \n**6:00 pm** Gallery Exhibit\n**7:00 pm** Program Begins \nPre-registration is required. Seating is limited and there will be no walk-ins\nallowed. Please register today. \n_We are committed to the safety of our community and will be providing\ncomprehensive security measures for this event._\n**About HaShayara**\nHaShayara is an ensemble of musicians and educators from Dror Israel who\nbelieve in the healing power of music—turning gatherings into shared journeys\nof strength and connection. One of Israel’s leading educational movements\,\nDror Israel quickly mobilized to support evacuees during the war\, with the\nDetroit Federation as a critical partner. Their work continues today\, helping\nfamilies and communities worldwide heal\, rebuild and find hope. \n**About the Exhibit**\nBefore the program\, powerful images of October 7th and its aftermath will be\non display\, captured by Detroit community members who traveled to Israel on\nFederation solidarity missions over the past two years.
