Theater Kid: A Conversation with Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winner Jeffrey Seller

Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 7:00 pm EDT

Join our Affinities Pride group for the launch of Jeffrey Sellers’ new book,
_Theater Kid_ , which will include a conversation with the author and an
exclusive dessert reception. Jeffrey Seller is one of Broadway’s greatest
producers (_Rent_ , _Hamilton_ , _In The Heights_ , _Avenue Q_), and his
memoir is a coming-of-age (and coming out) tale about chasing a dream against
the odds and finding acceptance and community. Jeffrey will be joined in
conversation by another openly gay Detroit native, actor and singer Douglas
Sills (Broadway’s _The Scarlet Pimpernel_ and HBO’s _The Gilded Age_). This
event is part of The J’s Film Fest and includes a private dessert reception
just for us with both featured speakers.

Books will be available for purchase, with the opportunity to have Jeffrey
Seller sign your book.

$18 includes event, dessert reception and a ticket to The J’s Jewish Film
Festival.

Please register in advance by May 5.
Dietary laws observed.
