Whether you’ve yet to feel your first hot flash or you’re in the thick of it,
the change can be uncomfortable, inconvenient and confusing. That’s why we’re
excited to welcome Dr. Carrie Leff for a Q&A and conversation about
perimenopause and menopause. Dr. Leff will demystify perimenopause and
menopause, help us understand what the female body goes through during this
change and answer your questions.
In addition, we will learn about Dignity Grows, a cause TOV is committed to
supporting this year. Dignity Grows works to combat “period poverty” by
providing girls and women with the hygiene products needed to participate in
work, school and everyday life during menstruation. We are also looking for
twenty ladies to stay after the event and help pack Dignity Grows totes of
personal hygiene essentials for people in need. **Please let us know if you
would like to volunteer to pack totes when you register.** Space is limited
for this volunteer opportunity.
Please register in advance by April 1
$36 per person includes talk, snacks, drinks and a donation to Dignity Grows.
Dietary laws observed.
This event is intended for women 35 and older.
