Jewish Federation of Detroit present a multimedia experience sparking critical
conversations through powerful stories, and meaningful dialogue — creating
pathways for our community to listen, learn and act.

**4-6:30 p.m. — Public Screening of “ _My Name is Sara_ ”**
Oakland Center Founders Ballroom | Public screening of Mickey Shapiro’s powerful, award-winning film that tells the true story of his mother, Sara Góralnik-Shapiro, a 12-year-old Jewish girl who survived the Holocaust.
**6:15-7 p.m.  — Noa Tishby Book Signing**
Oakland Center second floor, near fireplaces | Tishby’s book “ _Uncomfortable Conversations with a Jew_ ” will be available for purchase.
**7-7:30 p.m. — _ Behind the Film: Confronting Antisemitism Through Storytelling_** Oakland Center Founders Ballroom | Executive Producer Mickey Shapiro and Producer Stephen Smith lead an intimate discussion on the making of the film.
**7:30-8:30 p.m. —  _Combating Antisemitism: A Conversation and Q &A_**
 _with Noa Tishby_
Oakland Center Founders Ballroom | From historical context to the current challenges facing our communities, Noa Tishby leads a thought-provoking discussion on recognizing and combating antisemitism in all its forms on college campuses today. Moderated by David Kurzmann, Senior Director, Community Affairs at the Jewish Federation of Detroit.
